Toilet Seat Handle
Solid sand cast brass lavatory seat lifting handle. An unusual piece this one, but proving very popular in period style bathrooms and cloakrooms. Obviously requiring a wooden toilet seat, the handle is secured on the underside of the seat and is considered to be a more hygenic method of lifting and lowering the seat. They are produced in 2 sizes so that the larger size fits to the lid and the smaller size fits to the seat. Brass fixing woodscrews are provided. A curiously traditional fitting handmade and finished from original patterns at the Armac Brassworks in Birmingham.
