2.1/2" solid rubber wheel trolley. Dinner wagon castor. With grip neck, push in fixings. Like the 1084 this castor is predominantly decorative, but the castors are very strong and will work on a trolley provided it is not too heavily loaded! The leg is drilled to a diameter size very slightly smaller than that of the socket. The socket is then driven into the wood by hammer and the spikes around the end rim secure it into the wood. the castor (with the grip already attached) is then knocked into the receiving socket in a manner very similar to Shepherd Castors and you are ready to roll (literally!) These castors are made from sand-casting patterns at the Armac Brassworks in Birmingham, England. Produced to originbal designs at the Armac Brassworks in Birmingham, England.
