Solid brass door knockers and bells

Hand made at the Armac Brassworks. All of our door knockers are traditionally made from brass-ingot sand castings. (We do not use scrap brass in our specialist foundry work!) The sand castings are then shot-blasted to remove any excess material and then hand dressed and hand filed by our skilled craftsmen. The knockers are then polished to a high standard and then antiqued to give some background colour and definition to the pattern. The antique colouration is then relieved away from the brass on the more pronounced areas of the casting to give a beautifully aged look.
