Past
Founded over 65 years ago to supply the local reproduction
cabinet trades with high quality Birmingham manufactured
handles and fittings, Martin's slowly grew until the late
1950`s when with new ownership came expansion as the demand
for Birmingham brass grew. Soon Martin & Co. were
shipping its products all over the country, to be followed
some years later by sales to America and Canada and eventually
Europe and the rest of the world.
Present
Today we hold true to Martin's original idea of quality
hardware, the vast majority still produced here in Birmingham,
the heart of the industrial West Midlands. With the most
comprehensive ranges of cabinet hardware and decorative
accessories, we offer a virtual one stop-shop for domestic
and contract furnishers, restorers, top end bedroom and
kitchen manufacturers, shopfitters and interior designers.
Future
We are as always looking to expand our ranges and markets
for the future. New product ranges and finishes will be
incorporated into edition 9 of our brochure which is currently
being produced. We are also working to offer a CD-ROM
version in due course.
We accept that nothing is more stimulating for the individual
or business than face to face meetings, consequently we
remain committed to our exhibition programme that includes
the USA, Europe, Far East and of course the UK. The dates
and specifics will always be available in our news section.
